Hi Randy,

I must not have communicated correctly - I thought the issue was that gold was a hedge against a melt-down and not a speculative run-up in advance of a meltdown.

HM was 24 on Sept 30, 1987 and 14 1/4 on Nov 30, 1987.

So much for the meltdown theory.

So you think gold is going to skyrocket because the markets are going to crash WHEN?

Regards,

Bill

Randy we have a mirror of 87 now but the result for stocks will be the same. At that time bonds were falling like a rock and the stock market moved up. As a result Gold moved contrary to the treasury bond as it does now.

Happy trading
