I like mine on rye bread with a slice of onion. Been eating it for 50+ years

I have experimented lately with different kinds of breads (which I toast), but have not settled on any low carb, non wheat variety. I just put a lot of steak tartar on a thin slice of toast.

Regarding wheat, I am getting convinced that wheat really causes hunger (besides other problems). One pasta I do still eat is non-wheat, using Jerusalem Artichoke. Well, we ran out of it last weak, and the only thing we had was a wheat based pasta that has been sitting on the shelf for years.

I used (and ate) the pasta and for the next 3 days I was struggling with constant hunger, even though I was eating as much (or as little) as I have been for last 3 months...
