That's also what he said at 12000. And 10000. And 8000. And 7000.

The canary signal is if he switches to the CREF MMF. Him sitting pat doesn't tell you anything, because that's all he's done for the past 5 years.

For what it's worth, if he sold, it would be the mother of all canary signals to me. I have much better canaries, although I'm waiting for them to start singing about gold in a couple years.
