GM - That surprises me, I would have thought they would try to talk down the economy, to try to pass off blame for their current bad situation and try to encourage continuing federal bailouts.

Obama - His vision of what the economy is like seems to change depending on which argument will support his current agenda.


By "GM" I was referring to the revelation that they don't need any money "this month". I unintentionally lumped them in with the others.

I just think it is strange that all of a sudden these major players in the economy -- within a 24 hours period -- said, "Oops. We made a mistake"...

What do you think about the fact that Obama, Volcker, GM, and Citibank have all said in the last 24 hours that the economy is not as bad as first thought? If anything.

He's lying.....he does that a lot lately. None of those people are saying the economy is not as bad as once thought.
