And even if it were, the lifting is not doing the "killing", the embryo's are being created by parents. The statement by the Church clearly misrepresents this point. <As for your other point, at the margin the existence and funding of the research provides extra incentive to create extra embryos.> Again showing ignorance of the issue, there is much talk of restricting research based on supply. The WHOLE POINT of lifting the ban is lack of coherence in the original ban. Creating demand for embyo's is NOT an issue in the debate at all, and certainly not relevant to the article at hand. I think everyone sees our opinions... carry on if you like. DAK
