Hi Cactus!

Kind of crazy at work. About four months ago, one of our senior partners and my long time personal friend of 34 years, found out he had cancer. We've been dealing with that both at work and with family. His kids crew up with ours. Both families have taken vacations together and have spent many weekends together as the kids grew up. The kids are like brothers and sisters. All very close. He went through weeks of tests and spent time at Mayo. He started chemo and radiation this week, and will have surgery in about 8 weeks at Mayo and I will be with him.

Then another senior partner, and long time family friend as well for about the same number of years, had some heart problems recently. He had problems at the first of last year, too, but he'd been doing great since then. Nows he's back in for tests and we just hope they fix him up and no surgery is needed.

So, I've been helping both of them with their clients and personal stuff. It has been kind of crazy and now that my buddy has started his treatments, well, we know the time line is set and what will happen. It is going to be a long year.
Geez, and with the market, well, this year is already shaping up as a tough one! (g)

Hope all is well your way, John.
