William, I was looking at the 5 minute, maybe I should have been looking at the 1 minute. Yes 10% trading range for GE is interesting to say the least.

yep, bill, I'm a bear. I just looked through all the IBD sector charts. Everything except utilities looks tired, it's the time of year when people want to collect their profits, they had a good year. Between Thursday IBD and today (friday's charts in the Monday paper) the accumulation/distribution went from B- to D+ on the nasdaq and S&P. The NYSE most actives list, with the exception of T, is under distribution. First time I've seen it like this.
Of course, all of this COULD be bullish.
