I think I'm making more than you are.

It isn't a point worth arguing. FDR wanted to balance the budget, but when he did, the "Depression within a Depression" started. The reason is providing make-work government jobs is a stop-gap measure that does not help the economy.

FDR's actions did not END the Depression, they PROLONGED it. Exactly what I've been saying.
