It is contrived.

You have Begala, Carville, Stephanopulous and Emanual chatting every morning to shape and decide the Dem talking points du jour.

I still maintain that the Obama voters are lacking in the brains department. They were taken in by a charletan, along with the MSM that wanted--desperately--to be part of history.

The gang of 4 is just continuing to play on their voters' lack of willingness or ability to critique the One and his agenda.

They have to savage anyone who interferes with the narrative.

I agree with you about Cramer. He's fed off the stupidity of his listeners, too. But you know the Obama agenda is pretty bad when a guy like Cramer steps forward to criticize. It's not in his interest as one of the believer brown shirts.<g>

I think the point was that it's supposed to be journalism and instead it's a sideshow.

Or as Stewart said snake oil.

As someone else said, we may have known that all along but others tend to take it as gospel. That's certainly true, because people would debate with me about the value of Financial News Television.

Anyway, the attack was originally on the nationally broadcasted news of Santelli's remarks. The remarks trigged an invitation to the White House. That's the sort of current events that Stewart jumps on, it's his bread and butter.

It may seem like Stewart set them up, but if so CNBC was certainly a willing target. Parading Cramer around on the Today Show then MSNBC was asking for it.

Would you have backed off if you were in Stewart's position?
