Bentway also proved that LAUSD teachers are paid like 40-50% above the national average. How do you explain that? Do you think LA teachers should get paid as little as those in Podunk, Iowa? Remember.......you get what you pay for. And just for the record, I wouldn't teach in an LA school for only $60k.....and you wouldn't either.
