I presume you know that marijuana was made illegal at the end of prohibition to keep federal agents employed....

You might recall the propaganda movies from that time such as refer madness to "re educate" citizenry

Medical marijuana on the ballot in Michigan in November received more than three million votes.

More votes than any ballot item ever in the history of voting in Michigan.

And it won a majority in every single county throughout the state.

It even won the majority of the Republican voters.

In MA the decrim bill won by an even larger percentage that the mmj bill did in MI.
