I do care, because it is one of the few pieces of evidence we have to allow us to see what is wrong with our system of financial regulations. Now if individuals can erase the trail of billions of dollars, i.e. launder the money to make it vanish, then obviously it is a crooked system that needs to be trashed. Those mortgage-based derivatives obviously should become illegal, because they are not transparent. But this is different stealing. One billion is a million million. Bernie could not possibly have spent all that money. Where did they hide it?
