And in an absolute jaw-dropper, he told business leaders, "I don't like the idea of spending more government money, nor am I interested in expanding government's role."

No wonder Americans are confused. Our President is, too.

For all of Obama's career, his rhetoric has had nothing to with his actions. Nothing. He spent his whole Chicago career talking reform and backing the machine. It never mattered before. Nobody cared. But now he is under the bright lights of the Presidency, where what he says in one place will be remembered another day in another place. The rules have changed.

Re AIG's bailout, then the $168 million in CONTRACT bonuses...HOW does Obama's government think they will break contracts that were made some time ago???

Does that mean that we as Taxpayers could rescind the salary and increases we are currently paying Congress? Or could we take away all their perks?

Or could we charge Congress for all the porky BILLIONS of wasted dollars attached to the Omnibus bill...?

Of course not.
