Scott - Re: "Your keyboard description is pretty close" Thanks for your critique. You are clearly more familiar with the nitty-gritty details than I. I was asked to describe how a keyboard works by Ali Chen - and I wanted so much to describe how one presses one's finger on a key in order to make it work. However, I figured even Ali "probably" new THAT MUCH so I attempted to describe the essential basics of the keyboard subsystem within a PC environment. Thanks again. Paul
