Are the bonuses outrageous? Depends. Are they giving bonuses to the policy makers? Or is it going to guys who did the job asked of them and more? The former - outrageous. The latter - way to go.

I think you're right about the bogeyman quests to distract the public.

The funny thing is that in the weeks before Limbaugh became a bogeyman, the Administration's story was that anything that even hinted of criticism was a *distraction.*

Just think how many times you heard someone say that, including Obama himself.

Freud would have a field day with these people...lol
