Laura of "Shut up and sing" fame seems to deal poorly with opposing view points.

As I recall Ms. McCain said "Kiss my Fat Ass!". It seems to me anybody who says that pretty much deserves the "She Should Lighten UP". Comment. Since Ms. McCain is clashing with just about anybody on the right, I do not think she is very sincere when she says she is a Republican. Though I I haven't heard her say she is a conservative I have not seen any evidence that she knows what that is either.

Al, > Hey BTW, aren't you the guy who has been complaining about the left trying to silence right leaning view points?

Of course, and this is yet another example of it.

I had to dig to find out what Laura Ingraham was really saying. The way ThinkProgress.org made it sound, Laura was allegedly saying Meghan McCain was too fat to say anything about politics. No, Laura was saying that Meghan McCain was too shallow to say anything about politics.

Laura is right, but she couldn't resist making a fat joke, and ThinkProgress.org jumped on the opportunity. The result: Laura's original point was effectively "silenced."

Not that I hold Laura blameless, but I'm sure she can take the heat. Not so with the hypersensitive women of The View.
