It is of my opinion that the CG chips Amati & Westell received a few weeks ago are alpha versions. Both were to get the alpha chips and these are the first CG chips they have received. Now how long will it be until the beta version is out and then how long again until production chips are available? Westell said they will have a Supervision system with Amati DMT ready about the time the merger is completed. Is this using the TI DSP or the LSI chip set that Amati has been using? Terry
