Actually, I think these bonuses were paid earlier...and AIG did not want to reveal how the money was used. It is actually old money, but new news, if you will.

When the first massive bailout was made to AIG, at the Fed's direction, it was some of that money that found its way into the bonus pools and the payments to other banks.

No.

Annual, year-end bonuses.

Paid at the end of December.
