Fine, spend the "stimulus money" on stimulus and relief, and spend the general tax revenue on the debt.

Either way, you're going to run afoul of the Obamanation. And The One will not hesitate to call you out ...

This is perhaps the biggest reason why I generally don't believe in a stimulus. Even Michael's suggestion of American Express gift certificates with an expiration date isn't going to work, IMO. Too much debt still waterlogging the system.
