"How about we put the company into federal receivership, fire the clowns who think they earned their bonuses and let them sue to try to recover. See me in six years." That's what I think would by far be the BEST SOLUTION. ALL of those bonus contracts can LEGALLY be canceled by a bankruptcy Judge! (And... my guess for why that hasn't already been done --- either by the Bush team, or the new Obama bunch --- is fear of clowns like Bohner running around yelling "Socialism" when they don't have a clue what they are talking about....) That is the ONLY reason I can imagine why we have not ALREADY forced AIG into receivership.
