I agree, the balance is not being struck right now. Spending is out of control and not being through through very carefully. However, my view is that we had an emergency. Obama dealt with that emergency. Now it is time to slow down and start to craft more carefully thought out, fully vetted bills that build a solid long term foundation. Continued investment in things like fusion energy and science and technology would be where I'd place my bets if I were Obama. This country's continued prosperity will lie in direct relation to our investment in science and tech.
