Yep. Why aren't more people angrier? This is infuriating and it has a really debilitating effect on the future of all Americans. Whatever finagling it takes, this industry has to be stuck under a mountain of regulation because it is clear it is or soon will be doing yet another bubble and pop.

I've thought of a way to get even. I sent an email today to everyone in my email list: ================================================================== "Make them PAY for the bonuses.. Do you have AIG insurance or an AIG financial product? Cancel it or cash it out, go with another provider. Please forward this email to everyone you know." ================================================================== Please, do the same. In a week, AIG will have more employees than customers. Let's start with AIG and go down the list of financial institutions that deserve to DIE..

i'm convinced the average person doesn't have a clue about the amount of money being extracted from them in the AIG case to MAKE WHOLE the counter-parties under the guise of 'systemic risk' that is why you see so much outrage over the relative 'pennies' being doled out in bonuses and very little objection to being raked over the coals to the bailout of via AIG of foreign banks, WS investment banks (they 'get' bonuses for LOSERs)....the looting of the american taxpayer continues unabated and the sheeple don't even understand how they are being fleeced
