Animals are wired where they can hardly resist chasing another running animal. As you know that's why running from bears isn't advisable.

A dog trainer told us not long ago that little kids, particularly girls, who scream around dogs are not a good thing. Apparently dogs associate screams with the sound of wounded prey. They tend to want to give chase.

As you know that's why running from bears isn't advisable.

Running from Cougars is not a good idea either.
