Hi bentway.... we have been on the front end of the curve of realizing the scope and depths of the CDO /CDS exposures that where destinined to collapse in value. the CDS meltdown is now widely know now to be a huge problem due to accurate counter party risk and who as on the other sides of these trades. Myself and my coworkers have been conducting a 4 year campaign to bring the counterparty defaults front and center into focus. We knew this was unquestionably coming and I had placed several Trillion dollars of asset losses that would be realized 12 and 18 months ago. My nubmers where seen to be high at the time of my calculations and they are proving to be very pedestrian estitmates of wealth destruction as the Credit Default SWAPS HAVE COME UNDONE. John
