I gather the 19.98 is the cost of roundtrip transaction, but how did you get the rest of the numbers?

Here is how I look at it. If on fryday morning I take a long position on a margin I will pay datek 7% interest for 4 days (friday thru monday).
The amount charged is equal Amount I Paid (AIP) * 7% * 4/365. (4 out of 365 calendar days) or Charge = AIP * 7/100 * 4/365 or

Charge = AIP * 28 / 36,500 If Charge is $20 (roundtrip at Datek) then AIP = 20 * 36,500 / 28 . AIP is aproxim. $20,000

BTW IMHO chances are better to buy on monday morning the position back at a lesser amount or at the same as on friday closing.
Am I wrong ??
