Yeah, an interesting project. Not sure if I agree with all they say. Lambert said this higher quality coal has never before been considered to have any value, due in part to its being out of reach. There has been interest in developing CBM from the Mannville seam in the past few years. The dry, easy to get Horseshoe formation has been significantly developed here. Companies have been making progress with extracting from the Mannville, I think maybe the shale plays diverted some attention. This is the roughly same vicinity as NRG has proposed their gasification project, although it had a surface mine providing feedstock. Sub $3.5 AECO makes these projects real tough to sell.
