So, when you dump responsibility for taking care of injured soldiers onto health insurance companies, the cost of having vets on the payroll goes up. Period. End of story.

This is exactly what will happen anyway...no vet with private insurance is likely to use the VA...i know what I am talking about.

Why do you think the American Legion is opposing this measure if it doesn't harm vets?

In addition, vets would have to cover copays and deductibles associated with their service related injuries wouldn't they?

So that is a tax increase on them as well as their private insurers.
