Me too! We used to break up companies that were "too big to fail". We should return to that tradition. Start with Intel!

I agree with you somewhat on this.

I do think that there's a point where a company becomes too big to fail, and AIG got there. Letting it go down without a plan would be a horrible catastrophe, worse than throwing money to prop it up for a while.

Having said that, I don't know why management needs to stay in place. I think they probably shouldn't.
