Yes... despite much touting and pressure, the dollar never made it through 100. The Japanese haven´t pulled the trigger first.. the risk was there, nonetheless.

Ho hum, revisiting the yen chart. While still butt ugly (and yes the dollar made it somehow through 100, finally) it may be back to investment levels after the market absorbs the stimulus nippon-type.

Now watching the reflating carry trades (GBPYEN looks like it wants 150, EUR yen still fighting at 133 and there is lots of buying in risky currencies). At a point when the bull run its course, like in stocks and also the carry trades turn heads then the yen is also a good technical buy. ...for now - go with the program.
