What is shows is they got caught...and severely criticized for passing off the statement as "news". It could not have been an accident.... Without the enormous broohaha this little "mistake" created, I doubt they would have apologized. Don't you think Martha MacCallum would have recognized that clip when it was run? Or some producer? And gotten the correction on the air quickly? Or at least before the 24 hour firestorm that erupted over the obviously false charactorization given to Biden's commments.. ALL news entities should be held to a tigher standard than we have gotten used to in the past few years...
