As my last post suggests, the marketing has gotten sort of ridiculous. But that's part of running a business.

Big Pharma is in a high-risk business. The rewards have to be there if they're going to take the risks.

Big Pharma, to some extent, isn't playing a "house" game -- they on the other side, rolling the dice.

Consider the once-great Dow-Corning partnership, wiped out by one bad roll of the dice. Doesn't happen often but when it does it can be bloody.
