I well know the feeling of being shunned when I'm "into" the writing of formulas at times but have never expressed it as eloquently as you have here. That's histerical. I do have one idea that maybe you've tried already. Could you write another fml in WOW that calculated VIDYA for yesterday such as ref(VIDYA,-1) and name it something entirely different and then call that fml from within your VIDYA calculation? Talk me out of trying this please.....<gg> It does look to have some very interesting properties to it that I've never used...hmmm! Locking the door to my office door now. Will be out in a few weeks, hopefully the wife will slide bread and water under the door a few times a day. Ross
