I've always thought so. I can't remember where I read this, but when Congress is in the news, the stock market doesn't do well. That's what is happening now. It's politics 24/7. The US is now in the business of politics instead of being in the business of business. Maybe Parliamentarian Democracy is better? I like the idea of the Prime Minister being able to dissolve a non-functioning Parliament and calling for new elections in those cases. That would be great right about now. Throw all the Congressional bums out and get some people in there that promise to work together for the good of the country. Right now the GOP and Dems in Congress represent the two extremes exemplified by Pelosi and Limbaugh. I want more centrists in there.
