MVIS has growing pains. Last week I visited the company headquarters office to pick-up some investment brochures. An employee indicated that the company had outgrown their current office space and was looking to expand into the office across the hall. We both agreed that it was great to see the company growing and expanding.

First color prototype was sent to Boeing.
Second was first publicly demoed in London last month and is currently being used for further testing and development in the MVIS lab.
A third has not yet been built.
So Saab had to have received a single color model. Microvision has been using a red light source for their mono systems.
Hence, red.
