Of course, Congress could have read the stimulus bill before they voted on it....but that is a lot to ask. Takes time away from trips to Italy. Besides, if they screw up they can always hold a witch hunt and blame everyone else.

I keep thinking this may actually open the door for a legitimate third party, since the other two keep playing blindman's bluff....

OT - Acan last word here as do not want to get banned for political stuff here. Congress loves to distract the public from the real problem. Congress is the problem. They bring on much of the economy's problems. Now with this 'distracting anger' at well paid execs, they are putting some in danger of not only losing income potential but their lives too. They want the names of those making more than 250k from these tarp recipients. These names will get leaked and each and every one will be a potential target for some nutjob that will try to do them harm. I wish we could have a special election and have the opportunity to elect an entire new congress. But we will have to wait 2 years for change and even then these weasels may still be re-elected. Jim
