I am led to believe that there was indeed a change of heart at the Obama admin.. First they bought the wall street line about contractual obligations and then someone questioned that in light of auto bailout where unions are being asked for huge concessions. As the Nobel prize winner said on cnbc this morning---we will get a little protectionism with stimulus and i add and a little populism as well. And as he added, he would like to be protection free but stimulus was more important that perfect free trade creds and i would say the same for the aig contracts...
