Obama had no idea of the depth of the problem in the banks and financial system when he was elected.

He was totally "what's the big deal" about the September bailout when McCain suspended his campaign. Remember that?
He couldn't care less about it. Campaigning was more important.

Bush gve him every courtesy during the transition. Instead of giving BS speeches from the "Office of the Prez-elect", he should have been hunkering down on the critical financial issues and appointments.

But the man is clueless.

All he knows is that he wants Great Society II. Nothing else matters. Period.

Well, that and fun Wednesday night parties at the WH, cool trips on Airforce 1 and some down time at Camp David 'cause *presidenting is so hard."
