Boca, i've had to do a 180. up until recently, my #1 goal was to pay down assets. i paid off a condo in full when everyone said to invest in 2000 near the bubble peak. i refied to a 15 year loan in about 2003 and have less than 9 years to pay off my primary home. now that they've blown up the system, i will refi back out to 30 years, lower my payment, hunker down and i'm selling my condo in the april/may/july time frame of this year. i may take the cash and pay off the house or i may take it and buy gold and/or silver and/or platinum and/or something else - i don't know yet.
