"Keep in mind we already have socialized medicine for anybody who cannot pay. All emergency rooms must supply full aid for anybody who walks in, even if they can not pay."

How does an indigent diabetic use an emergency room? Wait until he falls into a coma, then have a buddy drop him off? Say their sugar is high, get some insulin, then come back in 3 hours and do it again, forever? Sounds wonderful!

If an indigent cancer victim shows up, does the emergency room transfer him to the cancer ward and operate or start chemo?

If an indigent heart attack victim arrives, does the emergency room do a triple bypass?

No, no and no. When I say indigent, I could be talking about a guy who'd just been laid off and lost his health insurance.
