It is common with head injuries for the victim to appear fine for a while after the trauma. Meanwhile, the brain is slowly swelling.

Only thing that I find curious is people fall 10,000 a day on a ski hill and never have a problem. She falls at the bottom of the bunny hill and bang. Either she fell just exactly wrong or there was some pre-existing condition.

Just heard on the radio that an autopsy found that the fall tore an artery in her brain.

Very sad, sounds like she was a fine woman.
