Since capitalism seems unable to reign in excessive, destructive greed, maybe we should make greed illegal. Let greed be determined by each jury that weighs it.

As it turns out it seems that they were legally guilty of nothing but greed and mismanagement.

There is no crime for greed, if fact good a good economy depends on it. No crime for mismanagement either. But those people were fired, but the bonus was required by contract. Those hired later were given incentives so that they would work for a failing company.

In a crisis the proper response is to learn and adjust, which is what we are doing.

What we are doing is engaging in some old fashioned communist propaganda. Screw the dirty capitalists who demanded bonus for their efforts! Its working toward the class warfare theme, and a distraction on several items to include the recent bond sale.
