actually we agree (sort of). Let them walk out and negotiate separate deals. Or bring in new folks. Or pay with stock options so their gains are tied to long term health of company. I wouldnt fall too in love with these geniuses who in some cases ran the company into the ground. Having said that there are many fine productive employees who are largely compendated thru bonus and commission and that model needs to stay in place. You just cant bonus failure contractually any longer. This will get sorted out and some bad dudes will benefit and some good folks will suffer. I will take a 90% success compromise here.
