inode adds a ton of hot air which causes much of the world's global warming. Without INODE and his ilk we could all drive hummers guilt free.

We still pay for these people's care, but we wait to do so until it's often too late for them and most expensive for us... Another subject you know nothing about. Pregnant women can get free prenatal care via Medicaid. Many won't even bother to go the local Medicaid office to get a Medicaid Id. I've seen them show up for prenatal visits and be told, "All you have to do is to go over to Medicaid and get your ID card and we can take care of you until you deliver". Nope, won't do it. Every state Medicaid provides EPSDT services for well-child visits through age 18. What level of participation do you think they have? LESS THAN 25%. You can easily accommodate that who don't have access to reasonable preventive care for a small amount of money. Yet, the Obama budget doesn't do it because his goal is a bloated, overblown socialized health care system. He doesn't give a crap about caring for these people; he wants socialized medicine and nothing else will do.
