The details were in the press here maybe 10 years ago about it being the second White House, a hardened site for the President and Congress in case of attack on Washington. The interesting part of this is that it was known to the people in Greenbrier Valley----a new Airport was put in in that area about the same time that the new construction began at The Greenbrier----but, never made the news over several decades. So yes it is public info now--------suggest you google either the Post or the Washington Times. mj
