its funny how folks are not divided here by party loyalty. Strange alliances here. Only inode predictable. I also think geithner was right for pulling the mandate from the original law. One cannot forcibly abrogate contracts and be immune from lawsuits and other consequences. On the day tarp started under paulson, sweetheart contracts going forward should have been banned and much of this wouldnt have happened. But preexissting deals are another story..
