Had to laugh when I read this comment. The mental image
of the bear in the movie "The Edge" was too strong.

I've been a bull for so long now its uncomfortable
being bearish. I prefer the term cautious.<g>
Yet I think other investors may begin pulling in
their horns during the next month.

I require an outstanding AMAT outlook, well-behaved
PPI/CPI reports and no Fed tightening on Nov.12 to
get bulled up again. I still maintain my core Tech
holdings but with a solid floor of Jan OEX puts and
am willing to lose all my substantial put premium
to wade through the troubling waters of the next
few weeks or months.

I don't think the Fed is so unaware of current market
conditions that they will raise short term rates now.
But if they do it could have serious consequences for
investors. Thus my caution.
