Dodd’s lie about the bonus loophole should haunt him next year when he seeks re-election. He has broken a bond with voters who expect honesty from their elected officials.

There is going to be change. The current chaos and mayhem will not survive.

The change I prefer to see happen is to get them out through the electoral process. That would be wonderful and could get all done in 4 years. And Dodd has certainly earned a high place on the list for replacement.

They cannot spend this much money in 2 years...therefore with a solid next election a few quick law changes could save some of the scheduled waste.

But right now today, the glide slope is still down.
Until that changes I see no reason to take any potential eventuality off the table.

The deeper the hole gets, the more difficult the climb out.
Does anyone think we can survive several more, or even one more, 60 day increments like Obama's 1st 60 days without significant and enduring damage to our country?
