Sorry .. it was a Leading Question ... :) I have some random thoughts ... Wanna hear em ? AIG was the Foundation for the Financials as they provided the Insurance for them and their CDOs originated by those "Can You Fog This Mirror ? Mortgage Brokers" and Home Builders who Sold New Homes on "Can You Afford these ARM Payments ?" [Not Apraisal Value] .. The Construction Crew at AIG was there to help build the Foundation and the Building and never realized it had a Major Flaw if there was an EarthQuake ... Now a Major earthquake Hits ... And the Building needs to be Taken Apart without Destroying the Rest of the City. Do you want to Make the Engineers [Expert Derivative Traders that know the Structures that Built it] Quit as the Building continues to Lean ?? And Hire Temps to Take the Rest of it Down ?? The Popular Opinion is they are Crooks .. or were they just Nearsighted and Ignorant like the rest of the Housing Bubble Food Chain ?? New Construction on the California Fault Line Continues .. Are they Crooks ?? Or Ignorant .. or Nearsighted ? The Question that remains is .. Who do you want to Take the Building Down Now ?? 1.6 Trillion of Derivitives Remain ..
