"Mystery" is for people who want to abuse power. Glasnost is good.

Sadly, no. Are you the one always going on about our immutable chimpoid natures? There are leadership cues which have been bred into human societies since they began, and a slight apartness is one of them.

There is no over exposure.

Yes, there is.

Also, Obama overestimates people's interest in listening to him rather than watching the new episode of House. The days of FDR and the Fireside Chats are gone.

"A little bit of mystery" is not the same thing as having to interpret what was printed in Pravda to figure out what was really going on. Having the President on TV every time you turn around makes you eventually discount what he says as important, even if it is.

Hitler, Chairman Mao and Hugo Chavez seemed to love public speaking too. Dictators just can't get enough face time.

Our Good Leader talked about how all proposed legislation would be on the web for public review and debate prior to getting elected. That was just one of the many lies so far.
