I SAID THIS MONTHS BEFORE TK ANNOUNCED THIS. SO DID OTHER RATIONAL PEOPLE. THE PEOPLE THAT LOOK AT FACTS AND MAKE CONCLUSIONS INSTEAD OF MAKE CONCLUSIONS AND LOOK AT FACTS. SOME BULLS SAID THAT THIS WAS NO BIG DEAL. OOOPS. also notice, tk looks at fundamentals second. coincidentally. his main concern is manipulating price. ha. he. ho. bingo! >>They had pretty much [reached the end of their] string on cost reduction -- their die size shrinks on the old 16 megs. So that story pretty much ran its course.<< DRAM PRICING DOWN SHARPLY AGAIN AND COST CUTTING WILL BE MINIMAL! >>If we are doing our jobs, we would be getting people in at low prices and out at high prices in this industry.<< ok, boys and girls, follow the RAZOR SHARP LOGIC THAT IS TOO SIMPLE FOR BULLS TO UNDERSTAND. buy low, sell high. tk already sold high (thanks, all you starry eyed bulls! tk's new addition to his house is much appreciated!). he now wants to buy low. taaaaaah dahhhhhhh! said in another way, tk wants to rouse enough polyana to sell to a dummy and he wants to manipulate the market with fear so that he can buy cheap from some uninformed dolt (more often than not, tk buys and sells from and to the same people!). >> If I followed a different industry there might be some other approach, but in the [semiconductor] industry, you have to do that. << in other words, if the investors in another industry knew anything about valuation and critical thinking and underlying causes and didn't deify a dufus analist like tk then i couldn't pull these kinds of charades off. ;-)
